Watch: Scary Laptop Explosion Caught on Video

A dramatic explosion of a laptop has raised safety concerns among users. The suspected cause of the explosion was its lithium-ion battery – the same that had caused Samsung explosions in the past.

In the video a laptop on charge is seen to catch fire, not once but four times.

Here are a few tips on how to avoid such an accident:

• Charge you phone/laptops/tablets in an open area
• Do not charge your phone on your bed, which may cause overheating
• Do not overcharge your phone
