San Francisco yoga instructor and acupuncturist, Amy Maloon has turned her hobby into an obsession. She has travelled 26 countries around the world with her camera and track pants to promote yoga. Over a period of 7 months, Amy visited Netherlands, Spain, France, England, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Morocco, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Jordan, Oman, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Scotland, Greenland, Canada, and the USA.

My journey has inspired me to make the video “Yoga Around The World”. As an acupuncturist I found that most of my patient’s conditions were caused due to stress of being overworked. By doing yoga and meditation we’ll reconnect ourselves with nature, come into the present moment.

With the help of her yoga training from Rishikesh, Amy was able to start an outdoor yoga community called the Dirt Path Yoga in San Francisco. She has specifically designed the yoga retreat for those who wish to unplug from the nine to five rat race of the modern life.

Amy’s journey through 26 different countries is surely an inspiration to become one with nature!
