Pavan Ahluwalia holds the Guinness World Record for being the fastest mehendi, or henna, artist in the world. She can make more than 500 designs in an hour.

She started at the age of 16, and developed her hobby into a well-established profession.

“I started doing brides when I was at university and people would say how fast I was. I asked my dad who said I should go for the world record which he absolutely supported,” said Ahluwalia, who has also done tattoos for celebrities such as Ellie Goulding.
