The Quint catches up with BJP MLA Pankaj Singh in an exclusive interview. The eldest son of Rajnath Singh takes charge of his father's election campaign. Rajnath Singh is contesting from Lucknow on a BJP ticket.

On being asked the difference between 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha election, Singh said, "In the last five years, we bonded emotionally with people. BJP workers have taken charge of election preparations in their hands."

Talking about issues which seem to be resonating with voters, Singh said, "We didn't make our youth job-seekers. We made them job-creators." Singh said that BJP's leadership is not against anybody and the party "will give a fitting reply to those pointing fingers at the country."
