India lost their Sudirman Cup opening fixture against Malaysia 2-3 on Monday. Saina Nehwal and women’s doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa won their matches but K Srikanth along with the men’s and mixed doubles pairs failed to match up to the Malaysians. India will next play 3-time champions Korea on Wednesday.
