A bunch of engineering students at the National Institute of Technology have come out with a model of an electric bike, that can outsmart even a high performance, using low-cost energy-efficient ‘state-of-the-art’ technology.

Paul Alex, founder of the Hound Electric, a tech firm incubated at Startup Village, Kochi, says, “All the features of a superbike have been incorporated into our model. Instead of an internal combustion engine, our bike will have a powerful electric motor. So that a normal biker can experience the same adrenaline rush derived from riding a superbike and still save plenty of money on fuel.”
