Japan’s Madame Tussauds wax museum is offering visitors a chance to see themselves dancing with Hollywood celebrities on a hologram dance floor.
The wax museum, known for its collection of life-sized celebrity figures, launched the new attraction in Tokyo on Thursday.
Visitors have their faces scanned using a 3-dimensional scanner and that image is then transposed onto a dancing hologram character.
The attraction uses a combination of existing technologies and signals a move by the centuries-old museum to explore new ways of interacting with celebrities in a digital age.
