UP Police Brawl: Open Fight Over Division Of Bribery Income?

UP cops took to beating each other up, apparently fighting over the distribution of ‘hafta’.

UP police have become famous on the social media but not for the right reasons. Three cops were seen fighting each other over a bribe in broad daylight. The policemen apparently couldn’t come to a decision about the correct distribution of the bribe they had received.

In this video, they can be seen punching and dragging each other. Curiously, they seem oblivious to the attention they are getting from the by-standers. The cops only stopped fighting when other cops intervened. A disappointing but surely a hilarious brawl to watch. We have to consider the plight of these policemen, maybe there wasn’t enough money to go around.

The incident took place in Lucknow, UP, and its not their first rodeo. A similar thing happened in May, when constables who were part of UP CM Akhilesh Yadav’s security team decided to beat each other up at a public event, in the full view of media cameras.
