Referring to the Mathura clashes, BJP President Amit Shah on Tuesday accused the Samajwadi Party government in the state of turning a blind eye to land grab cases and said his party will set up an online complaints system for those affected.
Shah also accused the ruling party of hobnobbing with and patronising people encroaching on the government land in the state.
Slamming Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for his alleged failure to tackle law and order in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP president told reporters that brazen shooting of police officials reflected the alarming situation in the state.
Inciting a debate on the long-standing Ayodhya/Ram Mandir dispute, BJP chief also said that a Ram Temple should be built in Ayodhya, either after a consensus or through court decision. (Inputs: IANS)
