Bhopal-based specially abled woman Laxmi Yadav wrote a letter to PM Modi, Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding that she be allowed to opt for euthanasia.
Frustrated with her failed attempts to get employed due to her disability Laxmi resolved to end her life.
Laxmi holds an M.Phil and LLM degree and feels her education is of no use to her.
I am a woman, disabled and from the OBC category but I still I can get any a job despite my education which make me eligible for a decent job. This is really frustrating. The authorities should either offer me a job or allow me to end my life.

However, MP’s Minister for Co-operative Affairs, Vishwas Sarang heard her request and decided to give her his support.
I have given her vouchers so that she can get a government job and I will get her a permanent job.
