6-year-old K Darshini set a new record in skating in Coimbatore.
After winning a quarter skating Marathon event held on Sunday, Darshini’s record is not only entered in India Book of Records but also in Asia Book of records, under the ‘under-sever-year-old’ category.
Managing Editor, Asian Book of Records, Manmohan Rawat said Darshini won this title by finishing a distance of 10.5 kms in 41.03 min in the event titled “Quarter Skating Marathon”. She has set a new national national benchmark by skating the distance in less than 45 mins.
