What’s funnier than talking about the quirks of the Bengali community? A Bengali singing about them in Bangla-accented-Mishti-English!

‘Winter is Coming’ is a song about a Bengali person’s sensitivity to dropping temperatures and her attempts to fortify herself against the dangers of winter, with a monkey cap, blanket and other defensive tactics. This is specially for fans of Ode to Boroline from Sawan’s song blog, The Metronome – for all those who wanted more of the Boroline lady.

The song blog, inspired partly by the iconic Phoebe Buffay, aims to redefine randomness thru original songs and videos created entirely by Sawan. The blog posts, in greater detail, at her website.

Song written, composed, produced and performed by Sawan Dutta Video conceptualised, shot, featuring and edited by Sawan Dutta.
