Samajwadi Party Exits Janata Parivar Ahead of Bihar Polls

Samajwadi Party today decided to pull out of the Janata Parivar, and said that it would fight the Bihar polls alone.

In a major blow to the grand alliance in Bihar, the Samajwadi Party today pulled out of the Nitish-Lalu combine, saying it felt humiliated at not being consulted on seat sharing and decided to contest the Assembly elections in the state on its own, as reported by PTI.

The final decision on the Bihar Assembly polls was taken at a party parliamentary board meeting in the presence of SP national President Mulayam Singh Yadav.
