Ludhiana man receives an electricity bill for an amount that’s more than the value of his house

A resident of Ludhiana got the shock of his life when he received an electric bill of more than Rs 75 lakh.
Ashok Goenka, whose average monthly electricity bill is in the range of Rs 3000- Rs 5000 was taken aback upon receiving the excessively inflated bill.
Goenka joked that even his house is not worth Rs 75 lakh and said he would be unable to pay the bill even if he sold the house.
Repeated attempts by Goenka to get the issue resolved by the Punjab Electricity Board have failed.
