1. Child Sex Abuse: Sensitising Family and System Need of the Hour

The Quint is supporting #ProtectOurChildren, an initiative by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Member of Parliament, to find lasting solutions to the problem of child sexual abuse.

A group of NGOs, activists, school principals, parents and survivors of child sexual abuse came together for an Open House event titled ‘Why we need to start talking about Child Sexual Abuse and Protect Our Children’ .

4. Do Medicines Expire? What Happens If You Take Them?

Contrary to common perception and belief, there is hardly any scientific evidence that the expired drugs are toxic and, therefore, harmful.

One study conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration, on the request of the US military concluded,“over 90 per cent of more than 100 drugs, both prescription and over-the-counter, were perfectly good to use even 15 years after the expiration date,” retaining most of their original potency.
