1. Pathankot Operations: Five Terrorists Killed So Far, Claims NSG

Fresh gunshots were heard from inside the Indian Airforce Base in Pathankot at 8 am on Monday morning. Officials said this firing could be linked to the mopping operation.

2. Mazar-i-Sharif: Forces Besiege Insurgents Near Indian Consulate

Afghan special forces continue to fight with insurgents barricaded in a house near the Indian consulate in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif on Monday, after an overnight attack that coincided with an assault on an Indian air base near the border with Pakistan.

3. Manipur Quake Live: Death Toll Reaches 9 in India, 2 in Bangladesh

The Indian Meteorological Department reported a major earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter Scale in the eastern and north-eastern part of India. The death toll has risen to six and 35 people have been injured in Imphal.
