A major earthquake measuring at least 7.5 on the Richter scale on Monday jolted large parts of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The epicentre of the quake lay in Hindu Kush in Afghanistan.
After experiencing the first tremors of the quake, people ran out of the homes and offices and gathered outside as a safety measure.
