‘Others Only Want Communalism’: Bundelkhand Farmers Turn to Cong

Farmers in Bundelkhand want to give Congress a chance as they’re frustrated with corruption and dishonesty.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi reached Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday which is day 10 of his Kisan Yatra. The Quint spoke to some farmers of the region, widely considered one of the toughest regions in the country for agriculture due to its arid climate.

The farmers in Mahoba say they are willing to give Congress a chance as they are frustrated with other parties’ corruption and dishonesty. They say Rahul Gandhi has given them hope and want Congress to come to power in the state.
