Noida BMW Hit-And-Run: Three people in Custody

An AC mechanic, who was critically injured after being hit by a speeding BMW in Noida, succumbed to his injuries.

An AC mechanic, who was critically injured after being hit by a speeding BMW in Noida, died at Safdarjung hospital on Saturday night, police said.

The driver of the BMW, Vinod who is a property dealer by profession, is still absconding. The car rammed into three motorcycles near the Adobe crossing, causing injuries to six riders.

According to media reports, after the accident when locals surrounded the BMW and Vinod, the driver took out a gun and threatened them. The other car, with which the BMW was allegedly racing, stopped, picked up Vinod, and sped away.
