Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told a delegation of meat traders who met him on Thursday that licensed slaughterhouses will not be shutdown.
The Yogi Adityanath government has ordered closure of illegal slaughterhouses and imposed a ban on cow smuggling, both of which were key electoral promises.
