Yogi Govt Lashes at Opposition for Flaring Violence in BHU

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 26 September said that a magisterial enquiry has been ordered into the lathi-charge that took place in Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

A magisterial enquiry has been ordered into the incident, where some journalists were also lathi-charged. The administration has been advised to not trouble any student, but deal strongly with anti-social elements vitiating the atmosphere.

Th UP government also blamed the violence on Opposition parties for trying to vitiate the academic atmosphere.

If they wish to do politics, they should do it with us and not with students. They should keep away from holding agitations in campuses.
