It’s Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray against PM Modi over 10% reservation. Through a cartoon, Raj Thackeray referred to the 10% reservation as PM Narendra Modi’s 10th lie.
However, BJP claims when it comes to criticising PM Modi, Raj Thackeray is in competition with Shiv Sena Supremo Uddhav Thackeray. In this race, both of them are willing to put up a strong fight. BJP has not delayed giving an answer to the cartoon by Raj Thackeray. Maharashtra BJP retaliated via Twitter to Raj Thackeray’s cartoon with one of its own.
Through the cartoons, Raj Thackeray has called the 10% reservation a lie similar to GST and note ban. In the cartoon, Raj has shown PM Modi along with a few media personalities as biased supporters.
BJP has replied with a cartoon whose theme is similar to the one made by Raj Thackeray. It almost looks like a photocopy.
BJP replied to MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s cartoon with another cartoon. The cartoon uploaded by the Maharashtra BJP on their Twitter handle shows Raj Thackeray and Sharad Pawar standing together. If that wasn't enough, they have even given it a title (translated as), ‘Raj Thackeray, a kite without a string.’
In the first 15 days of 2019, Raj Thackeray posted four cartoons on his Facebook account targeting only PM Modi and BJP. On 3 January, Raj uploaded a cartoon showing PM Modi’s interview with ANI. He also targeted PM Modi over the Supreme Court verdict on the CBI case.
After joining Facebook in 2018, Raj Thackeray has until now made over 20 cartoons about PM Modi and Amit Shah. PM Modi did not even get an invite to Raj’s son Amit Thackeray’s wedding on 27 January in Mumbai.
However, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other big leaders had got an invite to the wedding.
This is the same Raj Thackeray who once used to idolise PM Modi and the work done by him. To see how PM Modi had developed Gujarat as a chief minister, he had visited the state where he was all praises for the PM.
In the last two years, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray has become PM Modi’s biggest critic. He probably wants to best his own brother Uddhav Thackeray in their fight against PM Modi.
