This amazing video shows a paraplegic Suasnne Bohme take part in her first wingsuit flight four years after getting injured in a base jump accident.
Susanne is a veteran skydiver with more than 1000 wing suit flights in her name before her injury. She took part in this skydiving event in St. Dié-Remomeix, France in August 2016.
I was super nervous before exiting the plane. But I also knew I had a good plan, plus a plan B too, should anything go wrong. Once I was airborne, it was amazing to be back in the air in a wing suit, surrounded by so many flying friends.

The brave Susanne Bohme was paralysed from the waist down when she missed a base-jump exit and landed on a cliff on her back, almost four years ago.
After the accident, this was a totally different story. But I knew quite early I was going to return to skydiving, so I didn’t let it get me down.

Just nine months after her life-changing incident, Susanne performed her first normal skydive but stayed away from wing suits until this event.
