A group of women in Uttar Pradesh decided to send Rakhis to Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath ahead of the Hindu festival of Rakshabandhan. The women want to show their gratitude towards the two leaders for expressing concern for Muslim women in India who face a deplorable life due to Triple Talaq.
The women praised Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath for raising their voices against the practice.
These women expressed their grief for all those women who have been married for 10-11 years with children, but are driven out of their home by their husband because of Triple Talaq.
The women extend their support to PM Modi in abolishing the practice in the country.
