Born in 1981 in New York City, Ivanka is the second child of the US President. She lived a life under the spotlight and started her career in modelling when she was still a teenager.

However, after high school, she decided to give up modelling. Ivanka graduated in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.

In 2005, she joined the family business, where she continued to hold the position of executive vice president, until recently. She also started her own jewellery and apparel line.

Ivanka is also a famous TV personality. She acted as a judge on the show ‘The Celebrity Apprentice,’ and even featured in an episode of popular TV drama ‘Gossip Girl’ with her husband, Jared Kushner.

Ivanka married Kushner in 2009, and the couple now has three children named Arabella, Joseph and Theodore.

In 2009, Ivanka, who was raised a Christian, converted to Judaism and also adopted a Hebrew name: Yael. She is also an author and has written two books – The Trump Card and Women Who Work.

She resigned from The Trump Organisation in January 2017 and became an ‘unpaid advisor’ to her father in March 2017. Her political role has been criticised by many who think she is unqualified for the job.
