Did #MeToo surprise most women? Not really.

A large number of women we spoke to at The Quint said that they had been sexually harassed/abused/groped at some point or the other in their lives. While one woman said the “most disturbing thing was that the virality of the trend hadn’t shocked” her, another wondered whether we could even finish recording if we recorded EVERY single instance of harassment that each woman had faced.

If that doesn’t make you want to fight for change, nothing will.

But also, let’s shock ourselves out of the shock that lasts a day. A night. A hashtag.

Let’s do more.

Let’s start with you and me.
