A Shot in the Dark? Man Skies in Pitch Black, See It to Believe It

Here’s a skier who braves the darkness to perform stunts that will send shivers down your spine.

This video shows a plucky skier who took on the slopes in pitch black – with only a head torch and lit-up skiis to guide him.



Mathieu Bijasson, from La Clusaz, France, kissed his daughter goodnight and headed onto the mountain.



The daredevil wore just a head torch and had glowing ski poles and skis to light his way, but was otherwise in complete darkness.



Mathieu has been skiing since he was two and is still going strong even after three knee operations.





“Someone would be on standby on a snow bike in case there was a problem, but that’s it. I’ve always been passionate about skiing.”
