The season of Holi is here and it brings with it colours, festivities and some reason to cheer. It is common among north Indians to use poetry as a device to roast each other, albeit in a light-hearted manner on the eve of Holi.

This Holi, we at The Quint decided to get on the festive train and poke some fun at those who made the news, from Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi – who allegedly sunk the Punjab National Bank – to MLAs and bureaucrats of Delhi who are at odds over an alleged slap. Let’s not forget the nation’s crush Priya Prakash? Who knew a wink could break a million hearts. And what about India’s favourite couple ‘Virushka’?

Well, if any of the concerned parties were offended with these remarks, don’t worry, Holi is the time to put behind these difference, after all:-

Bura na mano Holi hai!
