National Students Union of India (NSUI) initiated a 'Gift a rose' campaign outside Ramjas college to infuse peace in the Delhi University campus rocked by violence last week.

Violence gripped the Ramjas campus post the clashes between the ABVP and those supporting the participation of Umar Khalid – a JNU student – in a seminar at Ramjas.

To alleviate the atmosphere of fear on the campus and to make the students feel more secure, NSUI began a campaign to ensure peace and harmony in the campus by distributing chocolates and roses to every student.
