Mumbai Indians became the first team in IPL history to win the title a third time after they beat Rising Pune Supergiant by 1 run in the final on Sunday.
Supergiant needed 11 runs off the last over but Johnson dismissed Manoj Tiwary and top-scorer Steve Smith (51) off successive deliveries after conceding a boundary off the first ball.
But Johnson conceded only 5 more runs off the next three deliveries as Dan Christian was run out off the last ball while going for the third run to tie the match.

BJP MP and Bollywood star Paresh Rawal on Monday took to Twitter to attack acclaimed author Arundhati Roy.
Rawal was referring to last month’s infamous incident of a Kashmiri man being tied to an Army jeep, propped up as a human shield to deter stone-pelters.

On the 30th anniversary of the Hashimpura Massacre, The Quint travelled to the area in Meerut district to speak to the families of the victims.
The Hashimpura massacre of 22 May 1987 claimed the lives of 42 men, all of whom are believed to have been Muslims. The alleged perpetrators of the incident were members of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC).
PAC members allegedly forced around 45 men into their truck and took them to secluded spots – the Upper Ganga canal close to Muradnagar and subsequently the Hindon canal of Makanpur. Here, the perpetrators shot the victims and threw their bodies into the canals.

A little more than two weeks after inter-caste violence between Dalits and Thakurs engulfed UP’s Saharanpur – resulting in one death, 15 injured, 17 arrested and two dozen Dalit houses razed – the tension has now made its way to the nearby capital city of New Delhi.
The protest hub of Jantar Mantar was witness to thousands of protesters in solidarity with the Dalits on Sunday.
They were denied permission to hold the protest by the Delhi police, but they went ahead with it anyway, spearheaded by Bhim Army’s young leader Chandrashekhar Azad.
