World Appreciates India for Its Humanitarian Services: PM Modi

PM Modi said ‘Make in India’ has led to India manufacturing products for the rest of the world as well.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, 29 October, addressed the Indian community at an event in Tokyo, Japan, where he called ‘Make in India’ a “global brand.” Modi said ‘Make in India’ has led to India manufacturing products for the rest of the world as well.

Speaking at the event, Modi said the world has begun to appreciate India “for its efforts towards services towards humanity,” ANI reported.

He added that Gautam Buddha and Subhash Chandra Bose connect India and Japan’s history.

He also invoked Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s name, talking about the Statue of Unity that is set to be unveiled on Patel’s birth anniversary on 31 October.

In Gujarat, his birthplace, Sardar sahab’s statue is being built, which will be the tallest in the world. The Statue of Unity will be twice the height of the Statue of Liberty. The height of the statue is as big as his (Sardar Patel’s) stature.
