The painting went on an auction during the ‘Virat Kohli Charity Ball’ in London, attended by a host of eminent personalities. The auction event witnessed British Indian Poonam Gupta purchase the painting for an impressive Rs 24 Crore.
The Charity event held at the Royal Armory Club in London aimed at aiding UNICEF to fight against slavery and human trafficking. Poonam Gupta speaks to The Quint exclusively about her experience, inspiration and contribution to the great cause. Virat Kohli most enthusiastically created his hand print on the Canvas.
