No Kidding! Ronaldo Gets Four Times the Pay of All IPL Players

While Ronaldo will earn $80 million a year, the combined salary of IPL players in 2016 was $21 million.

The world’s richest athlete Cristiano Ronaldo just got a salary bump and yes it was huge. As per the new contract, the Portuguese footballer will stay at Real Madrid till 2021 and will be paid over $80 Million per year, according to Forbes.

To put it in context, the combined salary of all the IPL players – including Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, AB De Villiers – in the 2016 season was a little over $21 Million. Still think there is too much money in IPL?
