Aishwarya Rajinikanth Dhanush is arguably the most stellar example of humility you will find.

With superstar Rajinikanth for a father and actor Dhanush for a husband, Aishwarya firmly believes in counting these as blessings, and not being overwhelmed.

"I have always thought a woman should be able to stand on her own feet," she says, while adding that it's great to have a husband who thinks the exact same way.

Speaking about her latest book Standing on an Apple Box at the Jaipur Literature Festival, Aishwarya says it is a 'diary' of her life – "something that was actually pretty easy to write!"
