Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of receiving bribe running crores from the tainted Sahara Group and from the Birlas.
Addressing a major rally in Gujarat’s Mehsana district, Rahul claimed that Modi had received funds up to Rs 25 crores from the Birlas. Gandhi’s allegations come weeks after his controversial presser, where he charged PM Modi with personal corruption.
Renewing his attack on the Centre over the cash ban, Gandhi said that the move was aimed at snatching white cash from the poor, in order to compensate for losses that resulted from waiving of loans of corporate houses.
Gandhi added that PM Modi had helped the corrupt in converting all their black cash into white.
