22 Dead in ‘Suspected Terror’ Attack at Manchester Arena

While condemning the Manchester attack, PM Modi said he was ‘pained’ by the incident that has left 19 dead.

A blast on Monday night outside a concert hall in the English city of Manchester, where US singer Ariana Grande had been performing, left 22 people dead and about 59 injured.

Authorities have confirmed that the incident is being treated as a ‘terrorist attack’. British media reports say that officials suspect the explosion to be a result of a suicide bombing.

The bomb went off at the exit of the Arena, when people were leaving the concert.
