The Navi Mumbai Railway Protection Force on Thursday, 22 February, arrested a 43-year-old man for allegedly forcibly kissing a girl at the city's suburban Turbhe railway station.

The act, captured on a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera, shows the accused, identified as Naresh K Joshi, walk up to the unsuspecting woman and allegedly force himself on her.

The woman, seemingly in her 20s, pushes Joshi away, and he casually strolls off, even as the woman is left dumbstruck.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the victim was waiting to board a train to Ghansoli for work.

Joshi was anyway under suspicion by Assistant Sub-Inspector DK Sharma, who was keeping a close watch on him, as he was found hanging around the station premises. Minutes after the incident, Sharma alerted RPF constables, who reached the spot and arrested Joshi.

The accused person was reportedly been handed over to the Vashi police station after he allegedly confessed to his crime.
