A leopard entered the premises of the Bombay Veterinary Girls’ Hostel in the wee hours of Friday, CCTV footage has revealed. The leopard jumped a seven-foot wall and a wired fence to enter the campus, where it was seen attacking a dog.
The hostel is located close to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Locals have reported several incidents of wild animals straying into residential areas in the vicinity. The forest department officials have been alerted and have been asked to take preventive measures.
