1. Court Takes Cognisance of Chargesheet, Summons Tharoor on 7 July

Delhi’s Patiala House Court has taken cognisance of the chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police against MP Shashi Tharoor for abetment to suicide and committing cruelty on his wife, Sunanda Pushkar.

Tharoor issued a statement in response to the summons, terming the charges ‘preposterous and baseless.’

The court has summoned the MP on 7 July.

3. What Was the Turning Point for Sunil Chhetri? His Father Narrates

Skipper Sunil Chhetri scored a brace in his 100th international game as Jeje Lalpekhlua also got on the score sheet to help India beat Kenya 3-0 and seal a place in the final of the Intercontinental Cup on a rain-soaked Monday night at the Mumbai Football Arena.

On either side of Chhetri's landmark double, Jeje (71st) made it 2-0 as India bagged two wins in as many games and moved to six points.

While speaking to The Quint, ahead of Sunil Chhetri’s 100th match, the skipper’s father KB Chhetri expressed that he had seen the talent in his son when he was just four or five years old.

4. IAF Jaguar Aircraft Crashes in Gujarat, Senior Pilot Dead

A senior Indian Air Force officer, Air Commodore Sanjai Chauhan, died after a Jaguar aircraft crashed in Mundra, Gujarat. The aircraft was on a routine training mission and had taken off from Jamnagar at 10:30 am. The cause of the crash is not yet known. However, the IAF has ordered a Court of Inquiry.

5. Apple WWDC 2018: Apple Announces iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad

The iOS 12 was, without a doubt, the most anticipated announcement at the 2018 Apple World Wide Developers Conference. As Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook took the stage to flag off the developers’ conference, he did us all a favour by bringing up iOS 12 as the first thing at this year’s annual keynote event.

The iOS 12 focuses more on augmented reality (AR) and Siri, and has many new fun features like the Memoji (animated emojis with your own face), fun messages, and improved FaceTime.

The iOS 12 tries to make communication more fun and expressive with Memoji and Group FaceTime. Screen Time helps customers understand and take control of the time they spend interacting with their iOS devices.
