There is no age to start doing good deeds. Shreya and Shraddha, twins studying in class 8, have been collecting funds for the Kerala and Kodagu flood victims for the past 15 days. The duo spend an hour every day after school going to businesses, places of worship and petrol pumps asking for donations.

We read in the papers that the people are enduring so much suffering. We wanted to help the people in our own way. We hope to collect the money and give it to the District Commissioner.
Shraddha, Resident

The twins are specially active in collecting funds on Sunday, when they don’t have school or tuitions. They have collected about Rs 8,000 in two weeks and will give the money collector to the District Commissioner in a day or two.
