Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2 April inaugurated the Nashri-Chenani tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir in the presence of every media house in the country. In the speech that followed, PM Modi talked about the ‘tourism or terrorism’ binary and urged the youth of Kashmir to work towards the development of the region.
He also said that the tunnel is the ‘fate line’ of the Valley.
The Quint spoke to a few Kashmiris and tried to get their points of view about the tunnel.
