A Jaipur-bound IndiGo flight made an emergency landing in Kolkata on the night of 10 December after smoke was detected in the aircraft cockpit and cabin, news agency ANI reported.

All of 136 people on board the Airbus A320 Neo aircraft were evacuated with the help of inflatable slides.

The airline said all the passengers and crew are safe. Several people shared videos of thick smoke inside the cabin on social media.
