Hailing his entry into the White House as historic, US President-Elect Donald Trump on Tuesday sought to take Americans into confidence over his grand plans for the country’s economic growth.
Trump also praised Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for her service to the nation.
In his 15-minute speech, Trump urged rival political camps to unite in order to ‘make America great again’. He also stressed on the need to reinvent the country’s economy, while announcing that he will focus on infrastructure projects, health and public transport.
Trump also pledged to work together with ‘all people and nations’ , while adding that his government would choose ‘partnership over conflict’.
