Campaigning in Gujarat’s Valsad, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath on Friday urged the voters of the poll-bound state to ensure a nationwide rout of Congress.
Taking a jibe at the Congress’ poor showing in 2014 general elections, Yogi said the Congress had won only two out of 80 seats Lok Sabha seats and are set to draw a blank in 2019.
Yogi also compared Gujarat to the most “developed state” in India, while claiming that he was in the state to take notes from its model of development.
