A 3-year-old boy in China’s Shandong province got his hands stuck in a vacuum pump. Firefighters had to be summoned to free the toddler’s hand. They used power tools to cut the pump from his hand. Fortunately, the rescue efforts to rescue the boy did not compound his distress or discomfort, though the procedure involved use of sharp and powerful tools.
