Budget 2017 is the first budget after the demonetisation announcement.

The Quint spoke to BS Nagesh, the founder of the Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India (TRRAIN), to try and ascertain the wishlist of retail markets in India.

He spoke of the need to boost consumption through income tax benefits, as well as the importance of job creation and greater investment in Indian-managed retail companies.
