Years after he partnered with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD and the Congress, Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation on Wednesday.
Addressing media persons after submitting his resignation before the Governor, Kumar said that “it had become difficult for him to continue as CM” as all his good work was being “overshadowed by questions on Lalu’s alleged corruption.”
Kumar, a former NDA ally, alleged that he had reached out to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who too, had failed to ‘take action.’
