Speaking to The Quint, a day ahead of his rally in Varanasi on 30 March, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad said that he will contest against the Prime Minister and that he stands by his Bahujan ideology. He said that Prime Minister Modi is the “person under whom Bahujans have been persecuted” and that if PM Modi wasn’t contesting from Varanasi, he would have “canvassed the entire nation to bring down BJP.”
Azad also said that if SP, BSP and Congress wanted to defeat BJP, they would support him. However, he ruled out joining any of these parties currently. Watch the entire interview.
