Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said it was with “great difficulty” that his government has arranged Rs 551 crore for extending the loan to MCD, even though the government was facing a shortfall of Rs 3,000 crore in VAT collection.

Kejriwal, in a press conference in Bengaluru, said that this is a clear case of mismanagement of fund and corruption. The Aam Aadmi Party convener also targetted the BJP and said, “while BJP was playing politics, we were cleaning up the city.”
