When asked whether she was nervous ahead of her comeback tournament, MC Mary Kom said, “Nervous? Never.”
The Indian boxing stalwart clinched a fifth gold medal at the Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City on 8 November. The five-time world champion and Olympic bronze-medallist defeated North Korea's Kim Hyang Mi in a unanimous 5-0 to add another feather in her cap.
“If I’m fit, no one can touch me. If I keep training, no one can beat me easily. After all my effort, hard work, and with the support of the BFI, I feel proud to have won,’ said Mary while addressing a press conference in Delhi on Thursday.
